It is the time of the year again when basketball enthusiasts are sitting at the edge of their seats vying for their favorite college basketball team. March Madness is right around the corner, and as we are nearing the finals of the NCAA Men’s Basketball, punters got their noses on the odds list.
As of the moment, below are the top five teams in the NCAA Men’s Basketball that have the best odds to bet on the championship. Check out if your favorite team makes it to the top five. If not, you better consider choosing from the following:
Gonzaga Bulldogs
This season, the Gonzaga Bulldogs is still the favorite team, ranking the top-best team in the NCAA Men’s Basketball with a +450 NCAA odds on the sportsbook. They have been the favorite team to win the championship three years, including this season.
During their championship game last 2021 against the Baylor Bears, they were defeated with an 86-70 score in favor of the Bears. They also ended up as the runner-up.

Kentucky Wildcats
With an odds of +800 comes the Kentucky Wildcats in second place in the best odds of winning the NCAA Championship this season. Despite their defeat against the Tennessee Volunteers, they still are the second team with the best odds.
The game ended with a 76-63 on the scoreboard. The Wildcats have already defeated the Volunteers on their last face-off last January 15, but unfortunately, they could not do their magic twice. However, the Kentucky Wildcats ranked fourth on the latest AP rankings for this season.
Auburn Tigers
Third on the list is the Auburn Tigers with +900 odds. The Tigers have also shown an excellent performance in their games this season. They won 23 out of 25 games they played this season, making them the second-best team in the NCAA Men’s Basketball this year as per the current AP ranking.
It was a win on the home Arena of the Auburn Tigers, where they ended the game with a 75-58 on the scoreboard. The victory fired up the crowd watching the Arena game, as most of them are Auburn fans.
The Tiger’s forward, Walker Kessler, recorded a triple-double in just 24 minutes of action, with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 blocks. In Addition to that, Tiger’s Allen Flanigan led the team in scoring with 16 points on 5-11 shooting from the field. Plus, he also added four rebounds in the game.
It will not be a surprise with these key players if the Tigers will close this season as the champions.
Purdue Boilermakers
The Purdue Boilermakers are the next team you might want to watch out for in this season of the NCAA Men’s Basketball. They currently have the +1000 odds to win the championship title. Despite their loss against the Maryland Terrapins, they still made it to the top five best odds of the season.
However, the team needs to work hard to ensure that they will win their remaining games to ensure their spot in the championship.
The Boilermakers did their best up to the last minutes of their game against the Terrapins. They are once again troubled with shooting struggles the entire game which contributed a lot to their loss.
Though Purdue is still not the end of the road, they should up their game in the next face-offs.
Arizona Wildcats
Next on the odds list is the Arizona Wildcats, with the odds of +1200. It is far from the odds of the number one Gonzaga, but the Arizona Wildcats come fifth on the list after winning two games against their conference opponents last January.
Arizona also dominated the majority of their games throughout this season. Like with their latest game vs. the Washington Huskies, they ended it living a score of 68-92 in favor of the Wildcats team.
The Wildcats enter the game with a sluggish start. It takes them some time to adjust and acquire the right rhythm of the game. At the end, when the team got the right tempo, the Wildcats Guard Bennedict Mathurin, 25 points.
It was then followed by the Team’s Forward, Azuolas Tubelis, who scored another 21 points plus ten rebounds, making them the leading team of the game.
